After Apocalypse Motors had converted Jeep models into six-wheeled colossuses for many years, it seemed about a year ago that it was time for a change. At that time the latest creation of the US tuner was a current generation Ford Bronco, which has been converted into a six-wheeled pickup monster. The result looked like it could survive the apocalypse unscathed. And we would now like to introduce you to another example. The name? Ford Bronco 6×6 Dark Horse!
Six wheels & gigantic proportions!
The Bronco four-door, which is not necessarily dainty anyway, was increased by a whole 91,5 centimeters for the installation of the additional axle extended. In addition, he got a short bed behind the rear seats and cosmetic upgrades to the body. powerful fender flares and an aggressively styled bonnet give the off-roader an even more aggressive look. The truck also got steel bumpers, which coated with Kevlar became, steel running boards as well as one 4-inch lift kit, which raises the entire vehicle by another 102 millimeters.
This means that the vehicle is finally unsuitable for a parking garage. The Apocalypse tuning crew also gave the Bronco exclusive Forgiato rims with a bicolor finish and a concave eight-spoke design. These are kept in 20 inch format. They are fitted with 37-inch Patagonia all-terrain tires, which ensure that the off-road beast burrows through the roughest terrain with ease.
Robust luxury dominates the interior!
The cockpit should be robust and weatherproof. This is ensured by a special leather upholstery, which even withstands extreme heat. The example shown also has a black and white leather interior with special decorative stitching on the seats, the door panels and the center armrest.
A 2,7 liter EcoBoost V6 drives the monster!
