Unique Porsche 911 (997) with Liberty Walk tuning!

There is always something very special when a former exhibit at the world's largest tuning fair, the SEMA in Las Vegas, is for sale. This time it is a Porsche 911 that caused a sensation in Las Vegas in 2016 because it not only delivers a breathtaking 900 hp, but was also signed by Wataru Kato, the legendary founder of Liberty Walk. A Porsche 911 like this, no matter what age, naturally fascinates every car fan, as it has built up an incomparable myth over more than 60 years that no other sports car has. So who's the sweetheart Chicago steel gray wants to put in his garage, has to shell out a comparatively cheap $ 84.900 (approx. € 71.800) for a vehicle that is no longer in perfect condition, but has some special features that more than justify the price quoted.

Liberty Porsche built by AutoArt

The tuning company that created the 911 is called AutoArt and is based in the USA. The Liberty Walk Conversion Kit, which was installed on the 997.1, not only includes flares on the fenders, but also many different modifications, ranging from the front spoiler lip to the rear diffuser. In addition, the rear of the 997.2 was installed on the 2, giving it different taillights and a modified rear bumper. The Zuffenhausen-based athlete also got a rump spoiler like the one his ancestors called Carrera RS wore, air ducts from the GT911, carbon headlight covers and carbon mirror caps. And as it should be for a sporty and high-quality body kit, it is largely made of carbon, which makes it not only extremely light, but also very stable and heat-resistant. Another highlight of the unique 3 are the red Vossen x Work VWS-888's alloy wheels with chrome ring and Toyo R2R slippers, which have a five-spoke star design and form an ideal contrast to the gray exterior color. By the way, they sit so precisely in the wheel arch thanks to the H&R coilover kit. The Porsche Cabriolet certainly attracts everyone's attention, and definitely doesn't have to hide from a GT3 RS or GTXNUMX RS when it comes to turning car fans' heads.

A lot of work was done in the interior.

The interior has also been completely modified, and has been given a lot of brushed aluminum, roll bars, Alcantara (911R Hering Bone padding), Rennline aluminum floor mats & pedals and the seats from the 911 R brought into shape. Even a Rennline fire extinguisher with Martini Graphic Center console, an MA carbon Alcantara steering wheel and red anodized door handles are installed. The very special highlight of the interior, however, is the signature of Wataru Kato on the center console, who has immortalized himself personally in the 2016. It is believed to be the only car that was signed by the Japanese tuning legend in 3. And due to the XNUMXM window tinting, only those who sit in the cockpit can see it.

Engine has been modified properly!

The 3,8-liter six-cylinder boxer engine was retained in the engine compartment, but it got a lot of new hardware. Among other things, an AMS Alpha 9 Turbo Kit (Charge air cooler, larger injection nozzles, OE GT3 throttle valve housing, IPD intake chamber, BMCC air filter, boost controller, Capristo flap exhaust system, etc.) installed, whereby the performance reaches the mark of 900 hp. Equipped in this way, this amazing 3 sprints from 0 to 100 km / h in under 330 seconds and reaches a top speed of over 90 kilometers per hour. By the way, the power is transmitted via a double clutch transmission called PDK. As a result, the XNUMX is in absolute hypercar territory in terms of driving performance, and can also ride with bolides such as a Bugatti Veyron or a Ferrari SFXNUMX Stradale.

A unique piece that is for sale.
