Can you still tune a brand new Porsche 911 GT3 (992)? All-natural! With a few meticulously selected changes, even a seemingly perfect GT3 can be made even better. And making it better doesn't mean that it necessarily needs more engine power. Because the 510 PS & 470 NM at an insane 8.400 rpm are more than sufficient. But there are actually a few other things to address. The GT3 from the pictures is a bit stiffer, lighter and more effective than the series. In the cabin can be seen about one tig-welded cage (WEC roll bar) and attached directly to it are the Racing Harnesses for driver and co-driver.

If you look at the data sheet of the conversion, it becomes clear that various references to 6061 aerospace grade aluminum (WC wishbone set) or AP Racing Parts only have one reason, and that is absolute performance! And even components that you might think don't need an upgrade at all are built into this XNUMX. For example, the OEM sports suspension was replaced by a high end Bilstein coilover replaced. In addition, one was installed that was nine kilograms lighter and developed in-house stainless steel exhaust (fits plug and play, weight about 7,3 kg). As far as the exhaust system is concerned, you even have two Systems developed. Version two (992 GT3 WC-Evo racing exhaust system) even replaces the factory ones elbow and saves a whopping 11 kg compared to the series. It also provides a small increase in engine performance.

And as already mentioned, there was also a new one Bremsanlage by AP Racing (AP Racing Brake Kit). It is so big that the standard rims no longer fit. So there was a new one too wheelset. Namely 19 inch GE1 wheels from Forgeline with Pirelli slicks. Many small details complete the conversion. And who is responsible for all this? The team of Global Motorsports Group (GMG). This is a California tuning and racing company that is headquartered directly across from Porsche Motorsport North America. According to our information, ANY Replaced the built-in parts with thoroughbred motorsport components to tickle the last ounce of performance out of the XNUMX. Crazy thing! If we get more information about the changes to the GT3, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
