news from the team around Schropp Fahrzeugtechnik from Schönaich, Germany. The latest creation that we encountered from the hallowed halls of Schropp Fahrzeugtechnik is a modified Ford Mustang in the new Ecoboost version. We already knew in April that the new "small" Ecoboost motor can be tuned with the 400 PS Mustang shown by FFTEC Motorsports. Schropp Fahrzeugtechnik does not go that far up, but the 360 PS and 550 NM torque achieved with this increase in performance should be more in line with the durability of the whole. We already know a few details about tuning the Ford Mustang. What we have learned we have listed below for you in a small summary.

These are the details we know about the Ford Mustang:

  • Performance increase from 314 PS and 450Nm to 360PS / 550Nm
  • TÜV certificate
  • Steeda handling kit (sport springs and stabilizers)
  • Schmidt Gambit Alloy Wheels in 8.5 x 20 with 255 / 35 / R20 tires and 10 x 20 with 285 / 30 / 20
  • Ford Racing sports exhaust system
  • significantly larger intercooler
  • changed air flow
  • A change in the rear axle ratio or a larger turbocharger are available on request
  • A tuning program is also available for the new 5.0l Mustang

Certainly, new information and certainly new pictures and videos will soon be online. As soon as this is the case, we will of course put it online and inform you about it.

His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
