Subtle - 2020 ABT Sportsline Audi A6 Allroad with 408 PS!

Hard to believe but Audi has been building the allroad quattro for 21 years! The first copy as the C5 allroad was launched on the market in 1999 and the legacy of the C6 (2006–2011) and the C7 (2012–2018) followed in the following years. And with the C8 generation, Audi is once again opting for an allroad quattro version that has been on the market for just under a year. Peppered with a few chic ingredients plus air suspension and off-road driving program, the A6 Avant becomes the allroad for the fourth time in a row. Still with the comfort of a typical business combination, but also with a bit of charm of a naturally competent guy. And for a good 6 euros, the off-road A3.300 model can even be further customized with a more distinctive radiator grille, aluminum underride protection, colored wheel arch trims, sills with "Quattro" badges, a new diffuser and a roof rail mounted on bars. But there is no real upgrade against the relatively tired driving performance of the 231 hp three-liter six-cylinder (DDVE / VW EA897evo2) as 45 TDI. At least not if it is not supposed to be a 50 or 55 TDI or the 340 PS TFSI petrol engine.

Then there is an additional € 3.000 for the 50 TDI and the 55 TDI and the 55 TFSI are even around 8.000 euros more expensive. However, you then have the perfect basis for an increase in performance from ABT Sportsline. They have made the high-tech ABT Engine Control unit suitable for the 55 TFSI, 50 TDI and 55 TDI. Instead of the standard 55 PS (340 kW) & 250 NM, the 500 petrol engine generates a huge 408 PS (300 kW) and 550 Nm of torque. This even outperforms a standard S6 TDI in terms of performance. And the ABT 55 TDI allroad is even ahead of the S6 in terms of torque. The 349 PS (257 kW) and 700 NM become 384 PS (282 kW) and a powerful 760 NM. Ok, the engine of the 55 TDI is of course identical to the S6 Avant. And as you know, this can also be done by ABT Tuning! We wanted to mention it anyway. And finally, an increase in performance is also possible for the 50 TDI, which turns 286 PS (210 kW) and 620 Nm into a significant 330 PS (243 kW) and 670 Nm. Only for the 45 TDI entry-level model with 231 PS & 500 NM, the tuner currently doesn't seem to have anything in stock. It's a pity, hopefully there will be more to come!

Alloy wheels in 20 and 21 inches

For the 45 TDI (and for all other engines) a chic optics package. And that with ABT alloy wheels. The FR versions are available in 20 and 21 inches and the GR type in 20 inches. The latter has a strikingly concave rim bed and a body painted in glossy black. The GR rim, which is also installed on the photo vehicle, is also available in matt black. But the classic five-spoke rim FR, held in mystic black, also stands out for the allroad. Incidentally, all rim variants have a diamond cut with varied accents. And ABT already has a few goodies for the interior. A start-stop switch cap, the ABT gear knob cap in real carbon and the well-known ABT door entry lighting, which projects the logo of the tuner onto the floor when getting in and out.
