Alpina B5 Biturbo Touring all-wheel drive with 760 hp - a wolf in sheep's clothing!

Hey, dear car freaks and engine enthusiasts! Today we have a real hit for you. We recently acquired a beautiful monster from Alpina. Specifically, it is a 2019 Alpina B5 Biturbo Touring Allrad (G31/5er/xDrive) that really knocked our socks off from day one. We had already presented the vehicle once in autumn 2022, but there have been a few minor changes since then. So it was time for an editorial update! Incidentally, our "B5er" has the serial number 350 and shines in the breathtaking Bluestone Metallic. But what makes the luxury tourer so special, you ask? Well, let's take a closer look at our gem.

At first glance, the visual changes may seem rather subtle, but take a closer look. The black diamond grille (kidneys) is impossible to miss. Alpina emblems are also emblazoned on the front and rear and the modified rear diffuser gives the B5 Touring a touch of aggression. The tailpipes are now black, as is the "BiTurbo" lettering on the rear. Subtle but effective details, such as two small carbon flaps on the front apron and a shiny black attachment for the roof spoiler, complete the picture for us.

Under the hood you will find the rare N63M30 V8 BiTurbo, which supplies the Touring with a remarkable 650 hp from the series version - after all, that is an increase in performance compared to the standard 608 hp straight from Buchloe. Typically Alpina! However, we were not satisfied with that. With a tuning box we have a significant jump in performance measured 760 hp and breathtaking 1.000 NM torque achieved. That is an increase of 112 hp and 140 NM compared to the series!

with optional Alpina high-performance brakes

What does that mean in practice? Well, the brave Touring, as it appears on the outside, is actually a beast, capable of pinning you passengers in your seats as it flies away with insane acceleration. And don't worry about safety - the B5 is equipped with the optional Alpina high-performance braking system, complete with perforated brake discs and high-performance brake pads to ensure it stops as well as it accelerates.

So, friends, there you have it - the Alpina B5 Biturbo Touring Allrad. He's definitely more than just a pretty face. The luxury tourer is an absolute beast, ready to surprise and please you on the road. Stay tuned for more auto goodies from us. Until next time!
