We can hardly believe it, but it has been 11 years since Audi presented the first generation of the R8 (Type 42) to the world. It all started with the 420 PS & 430 NM torque strong V8 petrol engine from the RS4 (B7) at the time. He made sure that it goes to 4,6 km / h in just 100 seconds and that the propulsion is only stopped at 301 km / h. However, that was much more spectacular 5.2 FSI V10 which in its last stage of expansion produced a fabulous 560 PS & 540 NM torque and accelerated the coupé to 3,6 km / h in just 100 seconds and had hardly any noteworthy loss of propulsion up to a top speed of 320 km / h.
And just like a V10 R8 we have now on the timeline of the rim label Z-Performance Wheels discovered. In addition to a brutal lowering, the R8 has a set of ZP.FORGED 4 - Deep Concave alloy wheels from Z-Performance Wheels that sit down to the last millimeter in the wheel arch. The rims have a brushed bronze painted rim star and, in addition, highly polished rim beds. The exact specifications are 8,5 × 20 inches on the front axle and the rear axle has a fat 12J x 20 inches. The combination with the extreme lowering, which in our opinion can only be achieved with an Airride air suspension or a specially made coilover suspension, couldn't be better than we think. The R8 crouches extremely low on the floor and is therefore an absolute eye-catcher.
Of course, the big part is also the Audi Lemans foiling which meets the sporting demands of the owner down to the last detail. The Ingolstadt is rounded off with small details such as the removed Audi emblems front and rear, and it is very likely that a sports exhaust system was also installed. Apart from the changes just mentioned, we are not aware of any further modifications so we leave you alone with the pictures at this point. 🙂 If we do get a few details about further changes, there is of course an update for this post. You will be informed about the update if you have ours Feed subscribe to. We hope you enjoy watching.
