The "Widebody“Does not necessarily have to mean that a vehicle grows immeasurably extremely in width, this is now shown to us by the Swiss tuner cartech.ch. They had an RS3 (8VA, built since 2015) On site and by the owner the task of pulling the front and rear wheel arches discreetly and thus adding a few millimeters to the body. The whole thing happened very elegantly and is only visible at second glance. The reason for the expansion of the fenders is a new Vossen Wheels VWS-1 (VWS1) wheel set which is supposed to fill the wheel arches with immediate effect and which requires a few millimeters of additional space. The rims have a satin black painted rim star and, in addition, high-gloss polished rim beds and fit perfectly with the standard gray paintwork of the RS3. The new wheel set is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires from Michelin, but unfortunately we do not currently have the exact dimensions of the rims or tires. And of course a lowering should not be missing and so an H&R coilover kit ensures the optimal depth and also significantly improved driving characteristics.

And so that the 2,5l five-cylinder can communicate its power to the environment, of course, had a sports exhaust system ago. Here, they opted for a stainless steel system from Milltek that ensures a significantly improved soundscape in series optics. With subtle details such as a completely black painted grille including RS3 emblem in black, black exterior mirrors, air intakes in the bumper and many other accents in black, the RS3 is impressively rounded. Apart from the changes just mentioned, unfortunately, no further details on the modifications to the RS3 are known to us so that we leave you with the pictures alone at this point. 🙂 If we still get some details about further changes, there is of course an update for this post. About the update you will be informed if yours Feed subscribe to. We hope you enjoy watching.

Does the RS3 now have an H&R coilover kit as described in the text or coil springs as it is in the detail list under the pictures?

    Greetings Martin

  2. Hello Martin,

as far as we know it is a coilover suspension. Sorry the disagreements.

No problem! Just seemed a little deep for a lowering over springs, so I had to ask there; o)

Keep it up, I'm here every day and see what's new!
