510 PS & 680 NM in the Audi RS5 (B9) Coupe from ABT Sportsline

After the  A5 roadster and the potent one S5 Tuner ABT Sportsline has now also taken on the top model RS5. Since the S5 from ABT already achieves 425 PS (313 kW) with just a few changes, and thus clearly "gets on the skin" of the standard RS5, the tuner from the Allgäu could of course not leave it untouched. Boss Hans-Jürgen Abt has adjusted the situation with a new service package and makes the RS5 even stronger and thus again creates enough distance to the S5. Using an in-house control unit ABT Power the V6 biturbo engine of the Ingolstadt Coupe now has a whopping 375 KW / 510 PS and 680 Nm maximum torque. The current RS5 already delivers a whopping 450 hp (331 kW) ex works, which at first glance is no more than the B8 predecessor with high-speed V8, but the new V6 biturbo of the V8 is already far from the factory, especially in terms of torque superior.

Instead of 430 NM werkeln here lush 600 NM which of course is a noticeable jump. But the abbots are doing a great job again. Additional 60 more horsepower and once again 80 Nm torque gets the Ingolstadt on top and that should provide for a sprint to 100 km / h in only 3,6-3,7 seconds and especially when pulling the power increase is certainly clearly noticeable. But if that's not enough for you, ABT Sportsline already has something in the pipeline, the tuner is working somewhere in the "Hurried Halls" in Kempten on an even stronger RS5, which will be limited, however. But already now the package is a round thing. With elegant and sporty 20-inch alloy wheels, which are available in all black shades from mystic black, black magic, glossy black to matt black, depending on the model chosen, it immediately becomes apparent that no production vehicle is available here.

As with the S5, the designs DR, FR and GR as well as the exclusive forged wheel ER-F are currently available for the RS5. The rims at ABT Sportsline are usually stocked with tires from Dunlop or Continental, of course, other types are no problem. Another nice gimmick is the new door entry lighting, which projects the ABT logo onto the floor via LED. If we get more details about the planned limited RS5, there is of course also a report.
