Audi RS7 Erlkönig - everything is waiting for the steam hammer

Audi has an absolute Erlkönig Liebling with tuning factory: It is the new RS7. The vehicle will be coming to market around the fall 2019. It complements the A7 Sportback C8 (internal type designation 4K) series by a model with significantly more power compared to the previous top model S7 TFSi with 450 PS or the S7 TDI with 349 PS. And also in terms of optical efforts has done more, especially compared to its predecessor. In terms of price, Audi's RS7 will move around the 120.000 Euro, which roughly corresponds to its predecessor. It has been changed a lot, so that Audi is directly in competition with competitors in the sports car division. The engine used is the well-known 4 liter twin-turbo V8, which with its own tuning probably delivers in the RS7 around the 650 PS and brings about 800 Nm of torque.

as expected: elegant lines

In 3,5 seconds, the RS7 should go from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour. The 8 gears are shifted thanks to a new eight-speed sports automatic transmission. The entire drive of the RS7 is based on the perfectly tuned Quattro all-wheel drive of course once again a special vote for the RS7 is obtained. The top speed is expected to be electronically limited at about 300 km / h. Customers who rely on new autotuning technology ex works, the Audi RS7 expected to order with hybrid drive and about 700 PS. With optional 21 inch wheels, the optimized and enlarged RS brake system and the finally widened wheel arches the Audi RS7 is then very well positioned and should be the BMW M8 Gran Coupe (2019) as well as the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door coupe (X290) make life difficult.

our own interpretation of the 2019 Audi RS7

Not to be overlooked visually are the RS typical front and rear aprons of the new RS7 2019 and the slightly widened wheel arches front and rear. In addition, already shows the Erlkönig with large oval-shaped tailpipes of the RS usual right / left sports exhaust system. The sporty image of the RS7 will therefore not be spoiled even with the new model. And everything in the interior is also focused on sport in combination with high comfort. Sports seats, sports steering wheel, plenty of aluminum / carbon and a virtual cockpit with plenty of infotainment leave nothing to be desired in this regard.
