More sportiness - Bentley Flying Spur with styling specification!

The current generation of the Bentley Flying Spur only made its debut in 2019. And now Bentley has given the flagship an additional sporty note. The result as a so-called "Styling Specification" Bentley presented today in a press release to the world public and it is a carbon body kit that provides more sporty flair with nice details. It can now be ordered for the new Flying Spur and features a carbon fiber front spoiler, with discreet carbon side skirts (actually they are sill swords), a filigree carbon rear diffuser and a carbon rear spoiler. Of course, carbon components from Bentley are not simply “normal” carbon components.

They are handcrafted from high-gloss carbon fibers with exact tolerances. All components have a 2 x 2 “twill pattern” structure. In other words, it is ensured that the visible pattern always matches exactly and is given a high-gloss finish. The side skirts were also given a three-dimensional, galvanically formed Bentley emblem, which was specially developed for the carbon skirts. It was difficult to paint the logo without the formation of air bubbles. But it apparently worked. According to Bentley, extensive tests have been carried out to ensure that the small components not only exude a high quality, but also do not impair the aerodynamics or the technological systems of the Flying Spur in any way. The new components certainly ensure slightly improved aerodynamics and even greater directional stability. Especially at high speeds, the front lip, for example, should ensure a slightly optimized air flow to the braking system or engine cooling. It is not yet known whether this will change the key data for the world's fastest production sedan. But we don't believe! The styling parts can be ordered from the Bentley dealer network and can be retrofitted as an option on new or existing vehicles.
