Anyone who believes that German manufacturers can not outgrow the Mercedes X-Class or the VW Amarok in terms of large pickups is deceptively mistaken. Apprentices from BMW show off with a X7 pickup in Tanzanite blue metallic (Individual paint) which is possible. However, it is only a unique piece that will be presented on the BMW Motorrad Days 2019 from today. In total, 12 trainees from the fields of bodywork and vehicle mechanics, technical model makers and automotive mechatronics engineers worked on this vehicle. The original 5.151 mm long X7 has even grown once again to 10 cm and thus has the format of a Dodge Ram. The basis for the show vehicle is a former 340 PS xDrive40i test vehicle that actually scrapped should be.

However, the apprentices saved the X7 from death and breathed new life into it with a useful teak load bed. And the result can be seen right, especially because BMW has no support from other departments included. It is all the more surprising that the X7 with 1,40 meter cargo area even has a regular street legal registration.
