Did you know that the Z4 of the model generation E85 appeared in October 2002 and was first introduced on the American market? The two-seater was only available in Germany in March 2003. As it was significantly larger and more comfortable than its predecessor, it was called the Z3. At the beginning there was a real hype about the Z4, but after some really big sales successes it collapsed noticeably from 4. Reason enough that BMW has made an extensive model update. But neither the facelift nor that Z4 Coupé (E86) prevented BMW from ending production at the end of August 2008. We just discovered such a Z4 on the Reifen SCHO website and were of the opinion that you absolutely had to see it.
⚠ BBS Alu's & KW chassis ⚠
The Z4 has received a set of BBS LM alloy wheels in 2 inches in addition to a lowering using KW coilover kit variant 19. The surface of the rims is classic silver and couldn't match the black painted body better. Apart from the lowering and the new alloy wheels, there was also a set of black kidneys and a re & li sport exhaust system with 4 tailpipes, unknown to us. Otherwise nothing else seems to have been changed on the Z4, so we leave you alone with the pictures at this point. 🙂 If we do get some information about important changes, there is of course an update for this post. The details of the changes to the BMW Z4 E85 convertible:
- Lowering (KW coilover suspension
Variant 2) - BBS LM alloy wheels (front axle with 225 / 35 R19 88Y
Michelin Pilot Super Sport in the format 8,5 × 19 ET35 and the rear axle with 255/30 R19 91Y Michelin Pilot Super Sport in 9,5 × 19 ET35) - possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- 4 pipe sports exhaust system (more info is not available)
