2023 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (Z06): Supercar redefined!

With the idea of C About a year ago, Chevrolet significantly outperformed its predecessor and raised the bar for American supercars even higher. The focus is, of course, on the extreme 5,5l LT6 V8 engine, a pure sucker, the incredible one 679 PS and a torque of 623 Nm delivers. Thanks to a novel Flatplane crankshaft and a lightweight rotary unit, the LT6 reaches a maximum speed of RPM 8.600. And in terms of design, the Z06 is also pretty impressive: it has 9,4 cm more track width than the C8 Stingray and features massive 345 rear tires as well as new front and rear aprons.

XXL air inlets on the sides emphasize the aggressive, sporty character. And for the ultimate track performance, Chevrolet delivers Z07 package. It contains Carbon fiber aero elements, a big rear spoiler, front splitter and special Michelin Sport Cup 2 R ZP tires, which in combination with the larger ones Brembo brakes unleash the true lap time capabilities of the Z06. And technically the Vette has also been further developed. A specific one suspension tuning, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and larger brakes take the Z06 to a new level.

The eight-speed dual clutch transmission with a specific Final translation improves that Acceleration ability. And even the cockpit has been redesigned to immerse the driver in a great ambience with lots of carbon fiber elements and new equipment options. In terms of aerodynamics that rises Z07 package out. It delivers 330kg of downforce at 300km/h – more than any previous Vette. Highlights include a high rear wing made of carbon fiber, ground effects and unique Michelin tires, supplemented by one Brembo carbon ceramic brake system and optional Carbon fiber rims.

No effort was spared on the engine: A completely new aluminum cylinder block, double spiral valve springs, forged Aluminum piston and Connecting rods made of titanium are just some of the features.
