2023 Chevrolet Corvette (C8) Z06 Pace Car for the Indy 500!

As a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition shows the new pace car for the 106th edition of the Indianapolis 500 (Indy 500). The race will take place on Sunday 29th May and the C8 will be driven by the former IndyCar racer Sarah fisher. Incidentally, this is the 19th time that the Corvette has been the Indy 1978 pace car since its debut in 500. And now it's the sixth year in a row. A Camaro it was in 2016 and the last time it wasn't a General Motors manufacturer was in 1996 with one Dodge Viper GTS. From a technical point of view, however, nothing changes on the pace car. So the 2023 Corvette Z06 Pace Car has that too 670 PS powerful 5,5-liter naturally aspirated road-going V8 under the hood. Besides, that is Z07 Performance Package with additional features such as Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 settings, carbon rims with Michelin Sport Cup 2 R ZP tires and a powerful carbon-ceramic brake system. There is also a lot on the body Carbon parts to see.

And of course the pace car also has a few special details.

About the black one Strip across the middle of the body, with a separate red Stripe on the driver's side. A Logo on the roof shows "70 1953 - 2023" and on the rear spoiler "Z06" is written in white letters. Also adorn Indy 500 graphics the doors.
