As we know, the engine control unit of the Chevrolet Corvette C8 was described as "not hackable" due to a special encryption technology. But is that really true? It has Extreme Turbo Systems managed to get 1.021 hp “on the bike” from a Z51 performance without in-house chip tuning? Or possibly became one freely programmable control unit built in? Anyway! We know that the LT2-V8 of the tuner has received twin turbo charging, plus 46 millimeters wastegate, a valve train from Ferrea Racing and the clutch for the 8-speed gearbox is a prototype.

Also worth mentioning are Mahle pistons, a charge air cooler with an ice box, a methanol injection kit "with an appropriate vote“As well as inlet and outlet systems with a high flow rate. And at the front and rear, ETS installed 19 inchers with racing tires from Mickey Thompson. Extreme Turbo Systems' video shows three runs with boost pressures of 13, 18 and 20 psi. The LT2 small block V8 developed a hefty 1.243 Nm of torque on the wheel. At the Woodburn Dragstrip in Oregon, this resulted in a time of 9,95 seconds at 232 km / h. This is clear compared to the 11,2 seconds for the C8 as a series.
