She was the ultimate Chevrolet monster back then! The C6 Corvette ZR1 which is also known internally as the "Blue Devil". The nickname was based on the mascot of the then CEO George Richard "Rick" Wagoner, Jr., who worked for General Motors from June 2000 to March 2009. The top model of the Corvette based on the C6 had a maximum output of 476 kW (647 hp) and a torque of 823 Nm. It was the strongest, fastest and most powerful Corvette that GM had built to date. And suddenly the opponents were vehicles that were twice as expensive as the Ferrari 599 or the Audi R8 V10. And the LS9 engine was not installed in any other car ex works. The Cadillac CTS-V at that time was also fired with it, but it was configured differently and made “only” 564 hp! But we found another vehicle with the engine.

705 PS and 920 NM torque

Namely a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, which received the GM engine from the tuner Fesler Moss. And not just once, there were several converted vehicles from Moss. One of the Fesler Moss Camaros was recently sold to a dealer (R & H Motor Car Group) for sale in Ohio and it is not surprising that the Camaro with the engine from the "Blue Devil" is not exactly cheap. Almost $ 75.000 should still be due for the custom-made product. For a 10 year old used fifth generation Camaro ZL1 that's quite a lot. The removed door handles, the two-tone alloy wheels (Asanti FS-914, 22 x 9 inches & 22 x 10,5 inches, Continental ExtremeContact DWS 265/30 & 295/25), the accessory grille or the sporty front lip nothing. And whether the rear with the small spoiler lip and the black taillights justifies the price is also questionable. Perhaps the LS9 V8, modified by Fesler Moss, which now supposedly sends 705 HP and powerful 920 NM torque to the rear wheels.

Baer brake system with 6 and 4 pistons

The increase in performance is achieved by means of larger injection nozzles, forged pistons, a sharp camshaft, a Magnuson intercooler, a double Fesler petrol pump, a Fesler Air Intake system and customized chip tuning software. In addition, there is a lot of chic carbon in red in the cabin and the leather interior seems to be individually tailored to the vehicle. Other noteworthy changes include a K40 radar detector, a Baer brake system with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear, an individually adapted Fesler sports exhaust system, Driveshaft shop drive shafts and a Pedders Track II kit with adjustable coilover kit. Conclusion: cool box, but much too expensive! If we receive timely information on further changes, there is of course an update for this report.
