Who is currently looking for one Chevy K10 pickup is in the condition of a new car, this example of an upcoming Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale might be just the thing for you. The 1972 Chevy K10 is not a typical restomod. Because it has received more changes than usual. True to the motto: "What-if-we-did-everything-you-ever dreamed of with an old K10 workhorse?". The K10 was complete restauriert and broken down to the bare metal down to the last screw and nut. Then there was a paint job in PPG Lead Foot Gray and Heron White with black panels. Even the panes and seals are new since the renovation. They allow the perfect illusion of a brand new pickup built in 1972!

The loading area has of course also been restored, whereby the built-in wooden floor is now stained black. The tool boxes on the sides are painted on the outside and powder-coated on the inside and are even made by one LED backlight staged. There was also a tailor-made step bumper at the rear. And the suspension of the chassis has nothing to do with a standard K10. In combination with the American racing rims in bead lock style velvet 37 inch BFGoodrich off-road tires a mighty lift. Notable components from the new chassis are Dana axles, TIG-welded custom-made cross members, and FOX 2.0 shock absorbers. A special 3-inch stainless steel exhaust with a MagnaFlow silencer is also installed.

The exhaust hangs on an engine that sits in a perfectly tidy and smoothly filled engine compartment. Even the bulkhead was smoothed and everything was meticulously painted in the color of the car. The engine is one 454 cube mill V8Painted Hugger Orange and powered by a Holley Demon Delivery fuel system. The engine is coupled to a 3-speed Turbo 400 gearbox with an NP209 transfer case and even the valve cover was signed by hand. Other nice details are a modern one Air conditioning, there was a Handle aluminum cooler, a black Wilwood brake booster can be seen and also one Optima Red Top battery one has installed. And of course we would like to give you some information about the interior.

Here was a modern bench from a newer Chevy truck, a dark gray carpet and the dashboard was upholstered in gray leather with an elegant seam contrasting in color is. Also the Show became loving restauriert and finally it even became a modern one Sound system installed. Since the conversion, the Chevy K10 is much too beautiful to ever be used again for work, let alone off-road. But he can do it in any case!
