So, with the BMW E91 335d with M57D30TÜ2 six-cylinder petrol engine with twin turbochargers and its 286 PS and 580 NM hardly any questions arise should actually understand itself. Even after ten years, the performance of the auto-ignition are still Up-to-Date and make many current vehicles look old. What the 335d is able to do if you give it a few modifications is shown by the BR Performance Luxembourg team. The tuner had a camouflage foiled touring on site and had to determine when measuring the series performance that this "only" 266 PS and 552 NM sent to the rear wheels. Reason enough to do a chip tuning and a few more modifications. Among other things, BR installed a sports air filter, a Wagner intercooler and, of course, its in-house Chiptuning Stage 2 software.

As far as we know, a few other modifications have been made, but have not yet been specified. In the end it doesn't matter because we are interested in the result and with 388 PS and a brilliant 823 NM that is more than just impressive. The extremely high torque in particular should catapult the 335 into a different league, but it will certainly also give the transmission a lot of trouble. If we get more information about the modifications to the 335d, there is of course, as always, an update for this post. - Performance increase on 388PS & 823NM
