On M4 hunt - Dähler BMW 440i (F33) with 415PS & 610NM

And again there are news from the Swiss Christoph Dähler and his team of Dähler Design & Technik GmbH, After this 540 PS M4 as well as the brand new one 570PS 5 Touring (G31) the new B58 engine, for example in the 440i F33 convertible, was the object of desire. The six-cylinder from the Munich-based company comes with mono-turbo charging and standard 326 PS & 500 Nm maximum torque and tuner Dähler increases the performance in three stages if desired. The smallest tuning stage brings the engine from 326 to 380 hp and increases the torque from 500 to 560 Nm. But already the second tuning stage cracks the magical 400 PS mark and delivers exactly 400 PS and a full 580 Nm of torque.

If that is not enough for you, Stage 3 is the solution because the turbo six-cylinder comes with a brilliant 415 PS & 610 Nm torque and is therefore, in terms of the horses, almost on the level of the M4. The torque even trumps the M4 (550NM) and is also above that of the new CS and the GTS, which both bring it to 600NM. Dähler has not yet given any information about the respective mileage, but we assume that the differences in reality are even smaller than on paper. And of course Dähler also has other goodies on offer for the 440i series (Coupé, Cabrio, Gran Coupé).

For example, there would be a specially developed sports suspension that tightens and dampens tighter than the optional sports suspension from BMW, but still in bearable and comfortable area. We assume that the competition most likely in the form of the Alpina B3 S / B4 S Biturbo should be looking for and are looking forward to the first numbers. And so you can enjoy the whole thing acoustically, a sports exhaust system can not be missing. Here Dähler offers two different systems. You can choose between two tailpipes in the standard duplex style or you miss the AG vehicle the look of the M4 system. At the end merely a matter of taste which the sound result should not be distinguishable.

And visually, one moves closer to the M4, and especially the Dähler M4, because the tuner also has its new 20 inch rims in ten-spoke design in stock for the AG model, which are available in various widths. In order for the significantly improved load to come to a standstill, you can also order a high-performance brake system with eight pistons for the front axle, which brings brake discs in 380 millimeter format. Aerodynamic components in the form of exterior mirrors in M4 optics, a front spoiler lip, a rear spoiler and a diffuser insert for the rear apron impressively round off the visual appearance.
