570PS - Dähler tunes the new BMW 5er Touring (G31)

To Alpina The Swiss tuner Dähler has now also made the brand new 5er Touring. Although a bit less extensive for now. The whole thing is called the “Competition Line” and arouses further sporting potential in the Munich lifestyle truck. What was important to the tuner was the fact that the exterior was completely understated while the inner values were in them. The focus was under the bonnet and that for almost every currently available model. For example for the 540i, it is known to compete with 326 HP ex works, Dähler ensures that with the tuning package Stage 1, 380 HP and a maximum torque of 560 Nm. If you opt for Stage 2, it even turns out to be 400 HP and 580 Nm, which means that an E39 M5 and an E60 M5 in P400 mode have their problems. And the 550i with the N63B44-V8 also has a huge increase in performance. There are even three power levels available here. Stage 1 ensures that the standard 462 PS & 650 Nm become full 510 PS & 700 Nm and Stage 2 brings the 550i with 560 PS & 760 Nm to the level of a current M5 F10.

The top stage 3 even ensures that the full 570 PS & 780 Nm torque is squeezed out of the V8 BiTurbo. The latter two also include a lifting of the Vmax limit. But the diesel drivers can also look forward to it! For example, drivers of a 520d with 190 PS & 400 NM, you are now on the road with 220 PS & 470 NM torque if desired. The 265 PS & 620 NM strong 530d, with BMW B57D30 - six-cylinder in-line engine with VTG charger, mutates to a full 310 PS & 690 Nm torque, which is currently the spearhead in the performance package for diesel vehicles from Dähler. But performance enhancements for the 535d and 550d are already in progress and will be available soon. So that you can also hear the extra power, Dähler offers various stainless steel exhaust systems with two or four pipe optics and active sound systems for the diesel models are also available. In addition, new suspension springs ensure improved lateral dynamics because the G31 is approx. 25 mm lower. And there is also something for the eye because Dähler has new wheel-tire combinations ready.

For example, there is a set of 20 inch light alloy wheels that can be fitted with 245/35 tires all around and if that's not enough, you can alternatively drive 285/30 slippers on the rear axle. And 21 inch models are also available which are then equipped with a 255/30 and 295/25 combination. Optical fine-tuning can also be achieved using various spacers. Finally, modifications for the interior are also available. A speedometer scale of up to 330 km / h and adapted background lighting are available as optional equipment in leather and Alcantara. And the first aerodynamic components are already in the works. If we get more information about the modifications, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
