Low SUV - KW coilover kit for BMW X1 (F48) available

Anything but familiar in the tuning scene is definitely the current and second generation of BMW's compact SUV BMW X1 (F48). Apart from MR hardly anyone has dealt with the successor of the E84 (BMW UKL2 platform) in terms of tuning parts. No wonder, because nobody really wanted to modify the E84 either! But now the chassis manufacturer KW automotive has made its KW chassis suitable for the second generation of the compact X1 and thus offers a good opportunity to start tuning the X1. The well-known KW Variant 3 coilover kit is available that should meet all needs with separate compression and rebound adjustment. Variant 1 is also available for the X1 (F48) and is the entry-level product in terms of complete chassis. The tested adjustment range of the KW coilovers extends up to 60 mm and that is clearly visible. You can install both coilovers in the BMW X1 with xDrive all-wheel drive or the models with pure front-wheel drive. The chassis allow the SUV-typical pitching and rolling of the body to be reduced in a sporty driving style and at the same time ensure that driving comfort does not suffer.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
