Who likes it huge and totally exaggerated for him is the one Ford Raptor F-150 with 3,5-liter Ecoboost V6 and 450 PS and 700 Newton meters probably an absolute dream vehicle. But on request much more is now showing us the team of DEFCO Trucks who have made it one 2012er Ford F-350 Lariat Premium to convert to the absolute off-road monster. Official name: Defco F-350 Mega Raptor! And the word “mega” is no understatement. An exorbitant lift and a set of insanely large 46 inch off-road tires ensure that you cannot reach the cabin without a stepladder. The part is so huge that you can easily roll it over two mid-range sedans, as the video below shows impressively.
The F350 comes with a complete Mega Raptor body kit, in-house Defco front and rear bumpers and a full-color, full-color, two-color look. The absolute highlight is definitely the wheelset. Here, the tuner installed incredible 46 inch GoodYear Offroadreifen on black multi-part alloy wheels. The rims even have a central locking system and behind the huge wheels hides a completely redesigned EBC brake system front and rear in combination with steel braided lines to capture the monster if necessary. And as already mentioned, the suspension is completely redesigned and impresses with a significant increase in height by an estimated 6-8 inches (details unfortunately unknown).
And also in the interior, a lot has happened and there are, for example, a sound system worth 12.000 $ and various small changes for that certain feel-good atmosphere. Not to be missed of course, new LED lights and necessarily necessary was also an increase in the performance of the V8 diesel. It delivers "only" 450 HP and a good "1.270" Newton meters ex works, which has been changed by means of a turbocharger upgrade (Precision Turbo 6466 Gen 2 CEA) and various other hardware and software changes. The exact performance is unknown, but in the video one speaks of an insane 1.900 Newton meters! This becomes clear when you step on the accelerator when the exhaust system emits so much black smoke that all the diesel scandals of recent years seem even more ridiculous than they already are.
