ECD Auto Design's “Stinky” Range Rover Classic V8 Restomod!

Reading time 2 Min.

ECD Automotive Design takes the classic Range Rover to a new level. The company recently presented the latest one Restomod, which is called “Project Stinky" referred to as. Despite the unusual name, it is visually and technically convincing. The Range Rover Classic shines in chic Arles Blue, which extends over most of the body, with the roof in the elegant Norvik Black is painted. The dark design visually contrasts with the black ones 18-inch alloy wheels from Kahn design continued, which are covered with Continental tires. But as cool as the exterior may be, the real details of the restomod can be found under the hood and in the interior.

The Classic Range is powered by a brand new V8 (L92), coupled to a six-stage automatic transmission, which drives all four wheels. ECD Auto Design hasn't just improved the SUV axles equipped front and rear, but also that Suspension optimized and a new one Bremsanlage installed. And even if the exact performance is still a secret, you can be sure that it is more than sufficient. The ECD vehicles are usually included 430 565 to PS! When you look into the cabin you are struck by... nappa in Savannah Beige greeted and the front seats load with their Heating function to linger longer.

A cabin full of technical highlights!

And of course the most modern technology is not missing either: a current one Sony infotainment, Infinity speakers , and a JL Audio subwoofer ensure first-class sound. There are also three USB ports, WiFi, a Backup camera, a Remote start function for the engine and a complete Bluetooth compatibility. There is even a wireless charging function built in. It rounds off the luxurious equipment package. Scott Wallace, managing director and co-founder of ECD Auto Design, is proud of his team’s latest project: “Project Stinky combines the unmistakable charm of the British Range Rover Classics of the 90s with state-of-the-art technology and our craftsmanship. A real classic of the future."
