The Japanese tuner EDGE Customs had next to the formidable Jeep Grand Cherokee Track Hork yet another vehicle with the Tokyo Auto Salon 2019 taken. It should be nothing other than the top model of the current Challenger series, in the form of the SRT Demon. And of course anything but standard. The 852 PS & 1.044 NM strong Demon shows off its factory with widened fenders, 315er slippers on the rear axle and a hood with a huge power dome. But apparently this brutal look was still to the tuner nondescript, How else can you explain that the Japanese have actually tailored the SRT Demon to an even richer body kit? The result, however, is beyond doubt and, in our opinion, even more impressive than the series.

Basically, there are no surprises on the body, but everything is just a number more extreme. The factory front bumper has been significantly widened on the left and right and beyond that you donate it a large front splitter. This is also maintained beyond the 4 km / h with the help of 300 vertical struts and even provides some pressure. The highlight, but definitely the widening of the fenders front and rear. These come basically with the appearance of the production vehicle, but are once again more powerful and also seamlessly integrated into the body. The fender attachments are connected with large side skirts that could almost act as treads. And really powerful is the rear view of the Edge Custom Demon.

the rear, too, has grown tremendously

The rear apron was adapted to the widenings of the fenders and in addition there was a huge diffuser approach. In combination with an enlarged duck-tail spoiler lip, the rear end becomes extremely powerful, yet somehow fitting as we find it. And worth seeing are the installed alloy wheels. It is an in-house multi-part forged rim whose dimensions are currently unknown to us but unfortunately. At the rear axle alone, however, at least one format of 13 x 21 inches may have found room in the widened wheel arches. The rim on the front axle is only slightly narrower and fitted is the wheelset with extra wide NITTO tires. And so that everyone can see there were still white tire stickers.

LED details also in the grille

And worth mentioning, of course, is the lowering. It ensures that the extreme wheel set sits consistently in the wheel arch and lets the demon dive clearly towards the ground. Unfortunately, we have no exact details for this. But we assume that a coilover suspension was installed and not Airride. Certainly that is not. If we receive timely information about the many changes, there is of course as always an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will get in touch immediately. We wish you a lot of fun watching the pictures.
