DMC Ferrari 296 GTB "Squalo" with body kit and 888 HP!

It came as a moderate shock to hard-core Ferrari fans when the brand launched its first super sports car, the Cavallino Rampante V6 hybrid drive introduced. The 296 GTB, which caused a stir and controversial discussions due to its drive concept, remained a real Ferrari in terms of lines and design. From our point of view, it boasts gorgeous lines that even cite classic Ferrari models without being too stuck in the past. With this front, this rear and the classic sports car proportions, it is much easier to cope with the V6 hybrid drive with plug-in function in the new “entry-level model” from Maranello. And the American tuner DMC has already pre-buttoned the 296 GTB and donated it one Restyling kit and a performance increase.

The shark bites!

At the same time as the new clothes, the 296 GTB was also given the nickname "Squalo", which translated from Italian means "shark". The bodykit includes relatively few components, because only wider side skirts, a fixed one rear wing, a spoiler at the stern as well as a more powerful diffuser in F1 style, were added by DMC Tuning to sharpen the design of the Italo racer. Chassis components are apparently not replaced with new parts, which means that the ground clearance also remains unchanged.

The alloy wheels in a Y-twin-spoke design with a black finish are also standard. However, solvent interested parties will most likely receive individual rims from the tuner for an additional charge, because a renowned tuning company does not miss out on the business. From our point of view, the vehicle is discreetly and tastefully refined and the body kit fits harmoniously and stylishly into the beguiling lines of the super sports car from Maranello.

Hardly any work was done on the interior!

Except one Badge from DMC Tuning, which indicates that it is a project vehicle from the tuner, everything in the cockpit remained standard. The interior can certainly also be individualized for an additional charge.

888 HP for a Hallelujah!

The major modifications can be found under the hood. using a new one control unit as well as the increase of Boost pressure DMC Tuning pushes the performance of the engine from the standard 819 HP to brute force 888 HP! The purely electric range of 25 kilometers is still maintained and the Ferrari now sprints in incredible distances 2,8 seconds on Tempo 100. Unfortunately, we do not know anything about the top speed of the modified super sports car. The power is transmitted via a Dual-clutch transmission with eight gears on the rear wheels.

Our conclusion on the Ferrari 296 GTB "Squalo" from DMC Tuning:

A fabulous one bodykit, which fits perfectly to the Ferrari of the future, and could probably also convince opponents of Ferrari tuning of modifications!
