Last December, the team from DMC tuning with a few renderings a body kit for the Ferrari Roma presented. And now a first vehicle has been equipped with it. Curtain up for the brand new one DMC Ferrari Roma “Fuego”! The Roma is one of the latest models Ferrari has in the range and DMC, a tuner from Germany, has significantly modified the Italian. And not just visually. DMC started with a remarkable engine tuning, which from the 3,9-liter twin-turbo eight-cylinder a top performance of 708 PS and a maximum torque of 888 Nm out. That's what Roma is all about in just 3,2 seconds at 100 km / h and also is one Top speed of 326 km / h possible. In addition, the German engineers have high quality Carbon aerodynamic components installed on the Roma. The body kit not only supports the extra power, but also ensures an aggressive look.

In addition, the Italian stands for beautiful 21 and 22 inches (front/rear) forged wheels from the Canadian manufacturer PUR Wheels. Incidentally, it should be noted that the 3,9-liter twin-turbo V8 in the bow of the Roma remains untouched and that the performance increase done in several steps. In order to further optimize the performance of the vehicle, the engineers at DMC developed a special one module for the engine control, which changes injection and ignition and also optimizes the electronic boost pressure control. The measures not only benefit the power development, they also optimize the throttle response and thus the response. When compared with the production vehicle, the top performance of the eight-cylinder is over 88 PS and 128 Nm gone up. With 708 PS & 888 Nm, the Roma not only goes from 3,2 to 0 km/h in 100 seconds, it also reaches after 8,9 seconds the 200 km/h mark. In addition, the new top speed of over 325 km/h is a real announcement.

And then of course there would be that DMC body kit. The German designers used the latest aerodynamics software to develop a body kit that makes the Roma even more streamlined and aerodynamically efficient. Gone are the days of analogue wind tunnel tests, which are good but too error-prone. The new styling gives the Roma an even more extravagant appearance. All body parts are made of particularly light and yet high-strength visible carbon and can be supplied with a matt or glossy surface. the DMC front lip installs by attaching to the stock bumper. It continues with new ones Rocker panels, which directly to the standard side skirts be attached and give the Roma a lower and slimmer look when viewed from the side. They also optimize the air flow between the front and rear wheel arches.

Changes also at the rear of the Roma

In order to improve the lift at the rear and thus achieve an optimal aerodynamic balance, DMC refined the Roma with a spoiler on the boot lid and moreover is an aggressive one Rear diffuser insert installed. And we would also like to go into the wheelset again. PUR Wheels supplied light ones for the Roma forged wheels with a brushed surface, which, with their five filigree double spokes on the front axle, are sized 9×21 with 255/30 ZR 21 tyres. At the rear, on the other hand, there were 12 × 22 inchers with tires in the format 315/25 ZR 22. And finally, there are special ones to supplement the wheel set from DMC Lowering springs für eine Lowering of approx. 35 millimeters. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
