From the in sennfeld (Municipality in Bavaria) based FF Retrofittings GmbH comes a real alternative to soon to be released G80 M3! An alternative with individual paintwork in eye-catching Java Green and based on the M340i (G20) sedan. A vehicle that has been completely individualized and on the one hand shows what FF Retrofittings is capable of, but on the other hand also impressively shows how extensive the tuning repertoire of the M Performance department is. But let's start with the most important change first. The increase in performance from the B58 in-line six-cylinder! The tuner pushes the engine from an impressive 374 PS & 500 NM to an extremely impressive 500 PS and 700 Newton meters of torque. And the complete "without" upgrade turbocharger and even while retaining the unpopular OPF filter.

Stage 2 tuning on 500 PS

Just by means of a special map optimization, with a highly effective HJS downpipe, and with a new water cooler from CSF, the B58B30TÜ1 engine has since achieved an increase in performance to a powerful 500 PS & 700 Newton meters of torque. This puts it on par with the limited F82 M4 GTS Coupé (500 PS) in terms of performance and even surpasses it by an impressive 100 NM in terms of torque. And that should lead to very similar driving performance. Although no further details are known, the M100i will safely complete the sprint to 340 km / h in under 4 seconds. And the increase in performance is also noticeable in terms of top speed. FF increases the Vmax from 250 to 305 km / h and extends the digital speedometer to 330 km / h.

Lightweight stainless steel rear silencer

Incidentally, the doping is acoustically noticeable by means of a lightweight stainless steel rear silencer including software adaptation, and despite the OPF filter already mentioned, there is even one Thrust bubblers possible. And we also mentioned the extensive optical upgrade. The body shows the sporty sedan with additional sill swords, a front spoiler, new wing mirror caps, a rear spoiler lip and a diffuser insert. All components are made of premium carbon fiber and come from the M Performance accessories from BMW, including the 20-inch alloy wheels.

And so that the increase in performance can also be consistently converted into propulsion, the M340i xDrive built a lowering by means of ZF Sachs Performance coilovers, which in combination with new stabilizers, wheel spacers and an anti-roll kit from Eibach built the potent 3 series with a species-appropriate cornering the road stops. The performance upgrade from FF is rounded off by means of perforated and slotted brake discs from the M Performance brake system that impresses with brake calipers painted with Java Green. Who still needs the M3? If we receive timely information on further changes not previously mentioned, there is of course an update for this report.
