Powerful - Ford Focus RS by Roush Performance with 500PS

Ever since the current Ford Focus RS with four-wheel drive is available, almost every tuner shows interest in Cologne! Satisfactory performance improvements like those of Hennessey, BR Performance or Shiftech Engineering push the 350PS - 2,3-liter Ecoboost four-cylinder up to 400PS and let the four-wheel drive pass the VW Golf R36 & Co. But at SEMA 2016, Roush's performance was DER TUNER who really showed what can be got out of the RS. With a whopping 500PS and newly acquired aerodynamics, the company, founded in 1976, lets the Focus RS fly at the C63 AMG, M3 GTS & RS4 level! The full increase in performance is achieved by means of the Ford Performance Block, new cooling and in-house chip tuning. From now on, the whole thing arrives on the road with 19-inch, Continental ExtremeContact sport tires and the factory all-wheel drive. The aerodynamics can also be made much more aggressive on request - the Roush has a large front spoiler, a rear spoiler attachment, a diffuser, new side skirts and a bonnet with ventilation slots ready for the Focus RS. The RS was also given a subtle lowering, in addition to which Roush installed the in-house TrakPak chassis, which includes a three-way adjustability and comes with an equally adjustable dome bearing from KW.

The Roush Performance Team released the significantly modified RS for the 2016 SEMA Tuning Show, which ended on Friday, and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the pictures from the fair. After the subtle, but nevertheless comprehensive, tuning cure that the Focus RS was allowed to endure, it is now visually much sportier, more individual and more powerful than the production version without being overdone or even looking chubby.
