Yesterday we got you the Dodge Challenger with R-Line widebody kit from the tuner Edge Customs presented and today comes the next project. It is based on a Ford Mustang GT and, like the Challenger, was recently completed by Edge Customs. But also this body kit we like so well that we want to introduce you to the GT on tuningblog.eu of course. The kit is currently available for vehicles from 2015 to 2017. Again, it is a widebody variant, which means that you gain a few inches of vehicle width after cultivation. For the factory bumper of the Mustang, there is a large front spoiler with small side flaps and a new radiator grille.
RTR grill with LED auxiliary lights
The grille, however, is the well-known RTR grille with LED auxiliary lights and therefore no component from the Edge Customs repertoire. It looks quite different with the fender flares. Here, the tuner developed a widening which is fastened without exposed screw joints and misses the front and rear of the Mustang a stately appearance. A connection between the components make the installed sill swords forth the front and rear, in accordance with the front spoiler, bring small air ducts. The chocolate side of the conversion is in our opinion but definitely the rear.
Ducktail spoiler lip and diffuser attachment
There is a multipart Ducktail spoiler lip and a filigree diffuser attachment which is installed on the lower part of the rear apron. Also this wears small flaps on the right and left side and harmonises well with the factory already very distinctive diffuser with central rear fog lamp. And of course, the presentation vehicle also got a new wheelset and a lowering. The aluminum wheels are three-piece forged wheels from the shelf of Work Wheels, and more precisely it is the type WORK master L1 3P. The wheel set comes with highly polished rim beds and a classic silver painted rim star.
Sport brake system with calipers in red
Although we currently have no precise information on the dimensions used, we assume that it is 20 Zöller. Behind it is the sports brake system of the Mustang which has provided here with red brake calipers. No information is currently available for lowering. Most likely, the Mustang but was pressed with a coilover in the direction of the road. Finally, it seems to have given a sports exhaust system but also nothing is known to us at the moment.
Spacers and grille with lighting
Incidentally, the photos from Edge Customs show that the front fender flares are even illuminated and the Mustang optionally has an illuminated Edge emblem in the grille. Somehow cool ... The visual appearance is rounded off with a carbon bonnet and a completely new paint job in white. If we receive more information about changes that have not been mentioned before, there will of course be an update for this report.
