[Update: 18.09.2023] This post was updatedto take more recent information into account. Many car and tuning fans ask themselves how a new edition of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (Mustang VII, internal code S650) could look. And we can take a look into the crystal ball, or use a rendering Rembrandt to maybe tell us a little more. While that's not enlightening either, we still want to show you renderings of today Hykada present, which have nothing in common with official sketches and considerations from Ford, but are definitely worth a report.

Aggressive racing style design!

It will certainly be a few more years before the next generation of the Shelby GT500 is launched. Nevertheless, renderings and illustrations of the 2024-2026 Shelby Mustang are already circulating on the Internet, making the hearts of car fans beat faster. The current rendering is inspired by the racing variants of the Mustang, and the powerful air intakes at the front and the aggressive look are downright terrifying. In addition, a wide and flat appearance ensures a hitherto unknown sportiness and the huge air scoop on the hood suggests to the ignorant that this is a drag strip monster.

Additional air intakes on the front fenders further sharpen the design of the sportiest Mustang, while a powerful, fixed performance rear wing gives the vehicle a little NASCAR flair. There is also a four-pipe exhaust system and a powerful rear diffuser, which ensures that the Shelby generates enough downforce at high speeds. Huge alloy wheels also promise the Shelby fan a grand entrance when it comes to causing a stir on the boulevards of the world.

One can only speculate about the drive!

The eight-cylinder petrol engine may make its way under the Mustang's bow one last time, but it's also conceivable that a plug-in hybrid will provide propulsion in the new Shelby GT500. We can't say anything about that yet. Our conclusion: It will be interesting to see what the final version of a possible new edition of the GT500 looks like and how close the current rendering is to the production model. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
