With the introduction of the M3 Touring (G81) entered the BMW M department E34 and E61 Touring "again" the segment of M high-performance tourings and is on a par with the Audi RS 4 Avant and the Mercedes-AMG C 63 T-model. The M3 Touring essentially has the same technology as the M3 Limo or the M4 Coupé/Convertible, but with a large trunk. And as we all know, there are numerous tuning companies that are happy to work on the M3, regardless of the body type. And one of the companies is G-Power, which recently “another” G81 M3 Touring project introduced. The project, like the M3 from the link, goes by the name G-Power G3M Touring BiTurbo and impresses primarily with its performance.
G-Power BMW M3 Touring (G81)
Visually it remains largely original, but under the hood it has the power to compete with super athletes. Thanks to one ECU tunings (G-POWER Performance Software GP-700), Sports downpipes and further modifications, the Touring now performs extremely well 700 PS and beefy 840 Nm torque. These are rich 190 PS & 190 Nm more than the series, which is approx. for the sprint to 100 km/h. 3,6 seconds required and a top speed of electronically limited 280 km/h reached. However, the exact performance of the tuned M3 Touring is not yet known, but it should be particularly clear in the sprint from 100 to 200 km/h. The vehicle in the pictures is also characterized by the new G-Power GP Venturi hood with a more aggressive design and the striking ones Hurricane RR Forged rims with five double spokes.
Carbon also under the hood
In addition to the modifications mentioned, G-Power also attaches importance to small details. This is evident, among other things, in the G-Power logos at the front and rear. And a striking feature is that G-Power carbon engine cover in bright orange/black, which not only sets a technical but also a visual accent in the engine compartment. The color highlight is through Strut bars in orange added, which increase the stability in the front of the car and at the same time give the engine compartment an individual touch. Apart from a seemingly reduced one ground clearance The rest of the M3 (still) remains series. With such elegant details, G-Power underlines its signature and sets the M3 Touring even further apart from the crowd.
