Refueled - 800PS & 1.050NM in the G-Power BMW M6 Convertible

One would like to think that the model generation M6 (F06 / F12 / F13, built since 2012) with M dual-clutch gearbox and the potent S63-V8 bi-turbo, as it also does its job in the BMW M5 (F10), is so slowly but surely in its last legs. Everyone is waiting for the new one M5 F90 and also the 6er BMW will be replaced soon by the new model generation. With 740PS & 975NM Torque showed the team of G-Power some time ago what the V8 is capable of, for example, if you install the chiptuning software Bi-Tronik 2 and make some changes to the hardware. In impressive 10,7 seconds it goes in the M6 on 200 km / h and only at a maximum speed of over 300 km / h is put an end to the whole. But now who believes G-Power is with the S63 engine through which has made a great mistake! The tuner has made the V8 again and the probably last stage of development now makes whopping 800 PS / 588 kW and provides a maximum torque of 1.050 Nm available. Enough to complete the acceleration from standstill to 200 km / h in under 10 seconds (9,8).

Thanks to an electronic increase in the Vmax limitation, there are now also plenty of 330 km / h in it. Blame for the renewed increase in performance has the Bi-Tronik 2 V4 software that has been retuned and of course carry other components such as the flow-optimized downpipes made of stainless steel (without Kat or with 200 cells Sportkats), revised turbochargers or a roaring titanium exhaust system contribute to the enormous increase in performance. Visually, a lot has changed on the presentation vehicle, which G-Power calls "G6M Bi-Turbo", and so the elegant convertible was given the well-known in-house 21-inch "Hurricane RR" forged wheel set with 255 and 295 tires and also a beautiful one matt foiling. Of course, G-Power emblems must not be missing at the front and rear and we assume that a lowering in the form of the G6M RS coilover kit (for M6 F12 / F13 - with EDC, G6M - RS - Coilover M6 F12 / F13 - without EDC) is installed.

Thanks to the renewed increase in performance, the current G-POWER M6 Convertible is even at the performance level of the well-known G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RR including the complex bi-compressor system, which has held the world record for the fastest sedan in the world since 2010 with a top speed of 372,1 km/h. Since the technical aspects of the M6 convertible are almost identical to those of the M5 F10, we assume that the increase in performance can also be installed in the sedan, but there is no precise information on this yet. If we get more information about the modifications to the M6, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. It is best if you subscribe to our feed and if there is anything new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures. (Photos: G-Power)

    Hello people

I'm actually sure that the clutch does not do this. The clutch will spin when accelerating.
Torque too high. Furthermore, the "only" rear-wheel drive is constantly turning. May be fun with that
Time is on the alarm clock.
    Greetings J. Brüschweiler
