It is one of the highlights on the current SEMA Auto Show (31.10.-3.11.9). The Gemballa GT Concept! From the very first glance at the significantly broadened vehicle silhouette, it becomes clear that he doesn't just want to play. A subtle, and ex works rather inconspicuous, Porsche 911 (991) Turbo is transformed into the Gemballa GT Concept. Masculine body extensions in connection with distinctive modifications to the front and rear and a resulting particularly self-confident appearance contribute to this. But it's not just the huge look that is special about the Gemballa GT Concept. Another highlight can be found under the engine cover, here there is the from GEMBALLA GTR 8XX Evo-R BiTurbo known performance increase on whopping 828 PS.
And so that the power arrives on the road, there was also a fully adjustable sports suspension that gives the extremely potent GT Concept perfect road holding. The finely adjustable sports suspension only works perfectly if it is installed in conjunction with the wheel / tire combination that is matched to it. The 991 is equipped with a 21-inch light alloy wheel set of the type GRS-F1 in forging technology, which thanks to its lightweight construction optimizes handling and driving characteristics down to the last detail.
The dimensions of the wheel set are 9,0Jx21 inches at the front with tires in the 255 / 30ZR21 format and 12,0Jx21 inches with slippers in the 325 / 25ZR21 format. In order to secure new records on various racetracks, there were also ultra-light body components made of carbon in the form of a front apron with integrated splitter, a rear apron with diffuser, a rear apron and an adjustable rear wing which, with their spectacular design, ensure the best downforce. The absolute heart of the modifications is clearly the increase in performance of the 3,8 liter boxer biturbo engine, which is already partially visible through the large ventilation openings in the newly designed rear apron.
Gemballa boosts the performance of 540 PS / 397 kW to insane 828 PS / 609 kW at 7.000 rpm, with maximum torque going from 660 Nm to 952 Nm at 5.200 rpm. So equipped, in just 2,38 seconds 100 km / h and the new V-max. is well above 360 km / h in completely new spheres. And also inside, a lot is new. The finest materials are combined with proven motorsport components and create a unique ambience. High-quality leather and the best Alcantara decorate the fittings, the bucket seats or the roll bar.
With chic details such as the embroidery of the Gemballa logo in the floor mats and the headrests, the interior is rounded off.
