Video: +340 hp in the HGP Volkswagen T7 with 2.0 TSI!

YouTuber Motor OliTV once again had the honor of having a vehicle from the company HGP to be allowed to test. And this time it was the brand new one Volkswagen (VW) T7 with the standard 204 PS & 320 NM strong VW EA888 four-cylinder under the hood, which we also know from the Golf R and the Arteon R. But as we know, if the abbreviation HGP is involved, then the topic of "seriality" is no longer relevant. And that also applies to the T7. Because the tuner from Ohmden has it (Municipality in Baden-Württemberg) with a Stage 1 tuning modified that performance to extremely impressive 347 PS and even more impressive 521 NM torque lifts. For a pure chip tuning, almost without changes to the hardware (only the intake hose is changed), these are pretty impressive numbers. And the T7 converts this directly into propulsion. Because it accelerates to country road speed in just over 7 seconds.

And it is no less spectacular top speed. Because the bus is running at maximum 264 km/h according to the speedometer, albeit with a slight gradient. And we find that very impressive. After all, we are talking about an XXL van for up to eight people (Depending on the equipment). And in addition to the increase in performance, there is even a visual detail on the T7. Because the vehicle from the video is with one KW coilover kit equipped and clearly lowered. And then there is one more detail. Because as already mentioned, it is so far "only" about one Stage 1 tuning. Since HGP, for example, in the Golf 8 R (See video link below) the EA888 four-cylinder clearly about 500 PS has brought, we are confident that the T7 will still move in this area. Since it is then also to get over that the crazy 3.6-liter BiTurbo six-cylinder swap for the T7 will probably not come. Even if the space in the engine compartment should easily suffice.
