There is also an incredibly large pickup fan base outside of America. This is especially true for New Zealand, where Holden New Zealand presented the “Colorado Rox Concept” in cooperation with the tuner Retro RVE Vehicle Enhancement 2018. And the mighty truck was now allowed to let off steam on Muriwai Beach in Auckland and impressed in particular with the robust beadlock wheel set in black / red with 35-inch off-road tires and the 6-inch body lift kit. In addition, there are a lot of changes to the body such as the robust steel apron at the front including a powerful winch and additional LED lights or the all-round fender flares. They increase the vehicle width by a total of 15 cm. In addition, there was a mighty carbon bonnet with power dome, sturdy running boards are built in for easier entry and the intake snorkel and the metal rear apron were retrofitted.

Incidentally, four additional large additional lights are located on the roof structure with full-value spare wheel, and the LED lightbar in the radiator grille also ensures outstanding illumination in front of the vehicle. Countless other details such as the illuminated wheel arches, the individual cargo bed frame or the unique Colorado ROX foliation round off the visual changes on the outside impressively. And also in the cabin a lot has happened. For example, leather-covered sports seats with Colorado ROX logo and some carbon fiber applications were used. Holden New Zealand wanted to create a particularly eye-catching vehicle with the Colorado Rox concept and that should have been successful in every case. His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
