Those who opt for an Astra GTC consciously choose the sportiest version of the Astra model range. House tuner Imrscher has now worked on this model. The result is a changed look and an increase in serial output. The Irmscher Astra GTC model is limited to 100 pieces and is called the Irmscher Astra GTC Turbo i 1400.

The basis is the basic model 1.4 with the four-cylinder turbo engine and 140PS. The increase in performance by Irmscher helps the Astra to 170PS, new exhaust components are of course part of the conversion. Irmscher has also lent a hand visually and installed the Astra with a new radiator grille with an integrated carbon bar, a spoiler lip in the front, side skirts, diffuser, roof spoiler and new tailpipes. A set of rims in 20 inches is also part of the program. So that the Astra comes a little closer to the asphalt, Irmscher has installed a lowering of 30mm. A design strip is glued to the flanks of the car. The interior of the Rüsselsheimer was equipped with other sports seats in nappa leather and white stitching as well as other pedals and door panels.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
