After more than 3.000 working hours Jaguar shows the first completed C-Type continuation car (Continuation Car). The vehicle received the “seal of approval” yesterday (June 29, 2022), exactly 70 years later to the day Sir Stirling Moss won the Reims Grand Prix. The vehicle shown here is a homage to the winning vehicle from back then. It's pastel green painted and owns green ones leather seats like the Moss C-Type. After 250 test miles (402 km) it is now ready to be handed over to the lucky owner. "Our exclusive Continuation C-Types feature the technical innovations and specifications of the 1953 Le Mans winning car, including the innovative Dunlop disc brake system installed in Reims in 1952said David Foster, Head of Engineering at Jaguar Classics.

Vehicles are FIA approved
The Continuation models are even from the FIA approved and therefore entitled to participate in historic racing events, including of course the Jaguar Classic Challenge, which takes place at a variety of circuits including Le Mans and Silverstone.
