The Lexus GX 550 Overtrail is more than just a show car; it is a small off-road innovation. Based on that T, the GX shares many features with its famous counterpart, although it was never available in Germany. The third generation of the GX, first introduced in 2023, marks the first complete revision for almost 25 years (!!!). The model represents a new era in off-road performance and design. Essentially an off-road vehicle, it works GX 550 Overtrail but one step further. The special copy was made in collaboration with the JAOS Corporation from Gunma Prefecture, Japan.

JAOS, known for their expertise in the off-road segment, has given the GX 550 a number of add-on parts that not only enhance its appearance, but also significantly improve its off-road suitability. The front of the off-roader was equipped with a special attachment that protects the apron in rough terrain. This one is, like the robust ones side skirt tubes, Roof rack and the fender flares, kept in eye-catching black. These additions not only increase the robustness of the GX 550, but also give it a martial look. And one of the coolest changes for us is this increased ground clearance, made possible by 18-inch Off-road rims with violent Toyo Aires Open Country A/T III tires in size 275/70R18.
