The Japanese luxury brand Lexus has reissued its flagship LS. The main features are a new floor pan and a BiTurbo V6 and a modern look. The fifth generation of the luxury liner is even longer, wider and lower than its predecessor. It is 90 kg lighter and this is thanks in part to glued body parts instead of conventionally welded ones. And the 2018 model is also visually noticeable and there are Z-shaped headlights with L-shaped daytime running lights, the “Diabolo” grille that is now typical of the brand and the fact that the large sedan now has six side windows. The rear view comes with narrow taillights including inserted chrome applications.
And for this very model Wald International has published a first preview for a planned body kit. The aerodynamic components give the LS a very sporty yet non-intrusive look and consist of a front spoiler and distinctive attachments for the air intakes, new fenders with large gills, side skirts, a discreet spoiler lip for the tailgate and a striking rear apron approach in diffuser look. In addition, a sports exhaust system with superimposed tailpipes right and left available and virtually already installed.
In addition, the snow-white presentation vehicle was given an in-house wheel set as well as a significant lowering missed to meet the dynamic and sporting appearance. We are already looking forward to the first real vehicle because the preview is quite impressive and very successful as we find.
