How would the legendary De Tomaso Pantera as a widebody variant of the Japanese tuner Liberty Walk look? The graphic designer “mick_em_all” (Instagram) thought about this and without further ado set up a virtual vehicle that could well have come from Liberty Walk. When it comes to the body kit, the rendering specialist based itself on the JDM Kenmeri Skyline from the 1970s, which the De Tomaso Pantera excels at. And Wataru Kato from Liberty Walk even has exactly such a Kenmeri skyline in chic blue! So why not the Pantera too? However, the difference is not really that serious compared to the whole real 600 PS Widebody De Tomaso Pantera by Kean Suspensions from 2019.

left the model - right the Pantera

He, too, has received the obligatory fender flares all around and they are also clearly visible with an exposed screw connection. Although the essays by "mick_em_all" seem a bit larger, the implementation is basically pretty much the same as we find. Only with the XXL low-bed wheel set in black with Toyo Proxes slippers and the sky-blue Skyline paint job does it go a different way. And the eye-catching sports exhaust system with four chrome-plated tailpipes is a different variant than the system on the vehicle from Kean Suspensions and Sköl Wheels. When it comes to lowering, however, there is again agreement, because both vehicles are rock-deep on the ground using the Airride air suspension, so that the wheel arches are filled with millimeter precision.

Pantera body kit in JDM style

We are excited to see whether Liberty Walk and especially Wataru Kato will manage to actually develop a body kit for the Pantera in JDM style. Since the guys have other rare classics like one Ferrari 308 GTB, a Lamborghini Miura or the newer one Ferrari F430 equipped with such a widebody kit, the chances may not be as small as you might think. In any case, we would be delighted to be able to marvel at a replica vehicle that is right next to Kato-san's Kenmeri. If we get any information about this, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
