Mercedes-AMG C63 as 712 hp Manhart CR 700 Last Edition!

Only a short time after Mercedes-AMG introduced the new C 63 SE PERFORMANCE presented, tuner Manhart has once again properly revamped the "old model". And in contrast to the W 206, the W 205 still has a "right engine' under the arched hood. Of course we're talking about V8 BiTurbo (M 177 DE 40 AL) and not from the hybrid drive consisting of a four-cylinder in-line cylinder and an electric motor on the rear axle, as in the new model. And that the popular 4,0-liter twin-turbo V8 can do significantly more, i.e. the factory ones 510 PS & 700 NM torque of the C 63 S, that has of course long been known. This is now being impressively displayed by the MANHART Performance team, which has given the M177 eight-cylinder a so-called "CR 700 Last Edition“ in the W205 AMG sedan help to achieve a real performance explosion. But that's not all. In general, the complete refinement program from Manhart is combined with the individual optics a real eye-catcher.

Manhart CR 700 Last Edition

Let's first come to the increase in power, which in the C 63 is to be understood as the heart of the conversion. The C 63 S gains strength as the CR 700 Last Edition 712 PS & 920 Nm maximum torque and thus receives a whopping plus of 202 PS & 220 Nm versus the series. This is what makes the increase in performance possible in the first place MANHART turbo performance kit. It includes upgrades for the turbocharger and Intercooler and then there's the in-house Carbon-sucking as well as the MANHART ECU Chiptuning. With the extra power, the CR 700 Last Edition accelerates in just 5,5 seconds from 100 to 200 km / h, which means an extreme improvement of several seconds compared to the standard condition.

And of course this is also noticeable acoustically. Because the acceleration orgy is substantiated at best with the MANHART downpipes "Race" without catalysts or alternatively with the MANHART downpipes "Sport" with 200 cell sport cats. Unfortunately, both variants are only intended for export, since they no TÜV approval bring along. And to match the increase in performance, the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT also got a 9-speed gearbox Upgrading the software donated. Incidentally, the power comes onto the road by means of height-adjustable thread springs from H&R and if you want, you can even do that Bremsanlage Configure individually with tuning parts. However, this did not happen with the photo vehicle. And that also applies to the interior. A lot is also possible here, but the vehicle from the pictures is standard in the interior.

MANHART Concave One rims

There were a few more details on the outside. And although the potent sedan enjoys black MANHART Concave One rims, which are perfectly aligned under the fenders in the format 9×20 inches at the front and 10,5×20 inches at the rear with 255/30 and 275/30 tires. Incidentally, the finish of the rims can be adjusted as desired, whereby we particularly like the variant on the vehicle shown in matt black and with golden rim decoration on the horn. And that goes for the typical one too body design in the form of the standard black finish with the MANHART decal set in gold as well as the completely gloss black version radiator grill. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
