Manhart Performance BMW X4 M (F98) as MHX4 600!

Should there really be enthusiasts who think that more than 500 hp is not enough in a medium-sized SUV, tuners like Manhart Performance just the right revision to start with. The best example is this BMW X4 M (G02/F98) as MHX4 600 in evil black and with grey/red War paint. As is well known, the 510 hp S58 six-cylinder with BiTurbo charging and tight 650 NM torque sits under the sheet metal. And tuner Manhart decided to help the S58 of the X4 M Competition and tune it so that it even trumps its big brother, the X6 M Competition, with 625 hp. The result leads to violent 635 PS & 785 NM torque and so the biturbo straight-six now has about the performance of the upcoming XM.

In terms of payment, the increase in performance means a surcharge of 125 PS and 135 Nm torquethat are already available to the driver from low revs. What exactly the X4 M Competition with 635 PS and the diesel-like torque of 785 Nm in terms of acceleration, but that remains a secret so far. Because the tuner has not published any information about the sprint values. However, we assume that the potent SUV will be a whole notch faster than the standard X4 M. It takes around 3,8 seconds to sprint to country road speed and reaches a maximum of 285 km/h with the optional M Driver's Package.

Changes to the look of the X4 M

And obviously there were also a few visual changes. Like that Manhart quad sports exhaust made of stainless steel, with valve control and four 100 mm tailpipes, which have a choice of ceramic or carbon coating. The vehicle from the pictures has installed the carbon variant. And while this vehicle uses the X4 M Competition standard brakes, the German aftermarket specialist also has a revised version as an option sports brake system at the beginning. That got further Suspension revised by the X4 M a sentence H&R springs for a lowering of 30 millimeters. And then there's the subtle thing Carbon body kit from eight parts.

The Manhart components allow for a more aggressive appearance without overdoing it. These include, among other things Appearances for the front apron, a rear diffuser or the new ones Mirror covers. There were also some body decals and a set of black ones Multi-spoke alloy wheels in the format 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. The rounds have a red outer lip and therefore go well with the Calipers. They are fitted with 265/35 tires at the front and 305/50 tires at the rear.
