If you want to see a "huge" off-road vehicle, then you still have to cross the big pond. Although we also have large vehicles such as the VW Amarok or the Ford Ranger, the really big things come from America and are called Chevrolet Silverado, Ram 1500 or Ford F-Series! And the team of MegaRexx regularly shows us how to let the XXL pickups from America grow at least one more number. Best example is that Mega Raptor 7, which is a heavily modified Super Duty pickup of the type F-250 with three rows of seats and an extended cabin with a removable fiberglass roof.

Specifically, the base vehicle is one F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Lariat 4×4, which has been very extensively modified. The pickup, which was converted into an SUV, was fitted with 4,0 inch (approx. 10 cm) Icon coil springs on the front axle equipped and 5,0 inches (approx. 13 cm) multi-leaf springs were used on the rear axle. Due to the changes to the suspension, the massive 20-inch MRAP rims with the even more massive 46-inch (1,17 m) Michelin XZL off-road rubber at least fit somewhat into the wheel arch. Incidentally, MegaRexx has improved the suspension even further with adjustable rear shocks, King Reservoir shock absorbers, dual Icon steering stabilizers and custom-designed arms that are longer and stronger.

But with the changes mentioned, the conversion is far from over. The truck even got a removable fiberglass roof over the "third row" of seats that connects the truck bed to the rest of the cabin. And under the hood? There sits a mighty 6,7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel from Ford, which delivers the standard 484 hp (354 kW) and a crazy torque of 1.423 Newton meters. As far as we know, no changes were made to the engine. The 10-speed automatic is also unchanged. But the optics have been changed all the more extensively. You can see a Smasher front apron with a 40-inch (approx. 1 m) LED light strip, there was a new rear apron and a specially modified tailgate with MegaRaptor lettering.

with “full” third row of seats

Further details of the conversion are Anzo headlights, there were black powder-coated running boards, two square 2,0 inch (approx. 5 cm) reversing lights and the entire vehicle is painted in lithium gray metallic. And inside? There is nothing missing. Whether it's a Bang & Olufsen surround sound system, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, heated and ventilated front seats, a folding third row of Ford Expedition seats, or tons of leather, it's all there. And in contrast to the third row of seats in many current SUVs, the MegaRexx MegaRaptor 7 also offers adults enough space. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
