A few days ago, the German tuner Mcchip-DKR a four-stage tuning program for the current Mercedes-Benz S-Class S63 AMG 4MATIC (type C217) presents that increases the power of the Stuttgart to a maximum of 780 PS & 1.150 NM torque. The setup is available for the pre-facelift built from 09/2014 to 09/2017 with M 157 DE 55 AL-V8-BiTurbo which delivers 585 PS & 900 NM ex works. The highest level of performance Stage 4 Needs changes to the hardware in addition to in-house chip tuning. Mcchip installs specially made downpipes with sports catalytic converters and new turbochargers. This results in a plus of 195 PS & 250 NM which ensures that the luxury liner has a top speed of 330 km / h (Limitation lifted) and claim with legendary 780 PS the left lane of the highway for themselves.
Stage 3 Incidentally, it brings it to 680 PS & 1.080 NM (chip tuning + downpipe with Sportkat) and Stage 2 provides 625 PS & 925 NM (only chip tuning). The lowest power level reached with 590 PS & 925 NM Stage 1 which is also due to an individual chip tuning. All power levels include a suspension of the limited top speed and so at least 310 km / h in there. If we get some more information, there is of course an update for this report.
