Can you still remember when we end 2015 reported about it that Mcchip-DKR has managed to miss the Mercedes-Benz GLE 63S AMG whopping 780PS & 1.050 NM torque? For comparison: In the year 1995 was the strongest Formula 1 engine of the 3,5l twelve-cylinder from Ferrari and this promoted 830 horsepower. Even ten years later, the F1 was not blatantly more powerful because the strongest engine was the Honda 968 PS delivered.

Ok, by the way, the ten-cylinder weighed only 88 kg and turned incredible 19.000 RPM. A technical masterpiece! Apples & pears, of course ... So what should the comparison lead to? On the fact that mcchip-dkr elicits unbelievable 63 PS & 5 NM torque from a current Mercedes-AMG GLE900 AMG by means of Stage 1.100 and thus sets up key data that, purely from the numbers themselves, cause a stir in the current Formula 1 because these vehicles reach them Performance "not".

At least for the Stammtisch that's just a statement! Specifically, this means that compared to Stage 4 from 2015 there is now another 120 PS and a few Newton meters of torque more, which ensures that the W166 runs an incredible 290 km / h. Please note that you are sitting in an SUV weighing more than 2 tons. Of course, the upgrade called "Stage 5 - MC900" with a price of € 31.999 is anything but cheap, but it is definitely justified in view of the extreme additional performance.

After all, the engine is being revised for this and there are, for example, high-performance H-shaft connecting rods including new bearing shells and also mcpipes downpipes, MC900 turbochargers or in-house chip tuning are part of it. Ultimately, the result is a plus of 315 PS & 340 NM torque and a top speed increased by 40 km / h. If that is a bit too heavy for you, you can choose from four other performance levels and start doing everything with Stage 1, which already enables an impressive 620 PS & 870 NM and a top speed of 280 km / h.

By the way, the M 157 DE 55 AL - V8-BiTurbo is also installed in the E63, SL63, S63, CLS63 and others and it is very likely that similar performance increases from Mcchip are also available for these models. Incidentally, the presentation vehicle shown here also got a complete full camouflage wrap and a fixed rear spoiler.
