Special model: 2021 Morgan Three-Wheeler Edition P101!

The Morgan Motor Company has announced the Edition P101 based on the three-wheeler and thus ends the production of one of the most popular models of all. The three-wheeler (also called 3 wheeler), which was presented in its current form in 2011, is due to expire in 2021 when the type approval for the installed S&S V2 engine ends. The addition "P101" stands for Project 101, which is the internal name for the concept of the time to revive the 3 wheeler. The P101 is limited to just 33 copies and was created by Morgan's in-house design and engineering departments to celebrate the original project and its success. The 3 Wheeler is one of the company's most popular vehicles and has been sold over 2011 times since 2.500. It has built in a whole range of unique components and details, the origins of which are based on the special design features of the former three-wheeled models by Morgan.

distinctive tonneau cover

Technically, however, there are no new features on the special edition. But optically. For example, there is the distinctive tonneau cover made of translucent composite resin from the EV3 concept from 2016, which makes the P101 a single-seater. There was something similar on the Morgan racing cars of the 1970s. In addition, there are chic and low-resistance aero disc rims with paintwork to match the body, there are Hella 9-inch high-beam headlights at the front (are positioned to minimize aerodynamic turbulence around the front suspension) and an alternating black and white ceramic-coated exhaust system. In addition, a fly screen, further slats, a small stub windshield, additional colored markings on the front tires, exposed rivets, a leather steering wheel, leather interior and of course unique P101 markings.

Paint in deep black or satin white-silver

The 33 copies are delivered in deep black or satin white-silver with appropriate stickers and you can customize your P101 with four "P101 Art Packs" (Belly Tank, Dazzleship, Race Rar, Aviator). The pictures show "Dazzleship" which was inspired by the graphic camouflage of contemporary military vehicles with its striking black and white design. There is also the graphics package "The Aviator" with graphics on the subject of the aviation of RAF aircraft from the Second World War, and the graphics package "The Race Car" continues. This comes with various stripes and curves and pays homage to the style of the old Morgan racing cars. The limited edition P101 costs around 50.000 euros plus tax and all 33 vehicles have already been given to Morgan dealers in the UK, Europe and the USA.
