The electric party cracker: Nissan Concept 20-23 in detail!

In the heart of London, Japanese automotive giant Nissan is celebrating two decades of its European design center. They present this as a highlight Concept 20-23, an electric work of art that stands as a testament to Nissan's commitment to electric mobility and creative design. Nissan has played a crucial role in Europe's automotive design scene for two decades, with London being the company's heart for the European market. The latest project, launched by CEO Makoto Uchida, was a challenge to design a car that would meet London's strict emissions standards while being suitable for an urban environment. The result? A small car with its... “Gamer” aesthetic appeals to younger generations.

Nissan Concept 20-23

The Nissan Concept 20-23 was unveiled in spectacular fashion on a floating platform in Paddington Basin. And while many think the name 20-23 is an anniversary reference, it actually represents the traditional Nissan numbers, with "2" standing for "ni" and "3" standing for "san." The aerodynamics of the Concept 20-23 is breathtaking. It has a steeply sloping rear section that is dominated by aerodynamic attachments. features are perforated fenders, a front apron carbon fiber, and a massive one rear wing. But despite the aggressive stance, the round LED lights at the front and back exude some friendliness.

Nissan Concept on 21 inches

The Japanese stands up 21 inch wheels, which are so close to the body that you wonder how it can drive at all, especially on London's often uneven roads. While the exterior impresses, the interior is a mystery. The model shown in London did not have an interior, but the renderings provided by Nissan promise sporty white bucket seats and a modern one Yoke sports steering wheel. Nissan also remains tight-lipped about the exact electric drive.

And although it is speculated that it will be built in the near future, the designers have made it clear that it is purely a concept not for mass production is provided. The Nissan Concept 20-23 is a piece of design and symbolizes Nissan's ongoing commitment to innovation and creativity. It may not be the most practical car for everyday use in London, but it shows what's possible when designers let their imagination run wild.
