Most parking garages are open to Crosscamp Lite drivers thanks to a height of just 1,99 meters. The 4,95 meter long camper also offers plenty of space for bulk shopping, moving or simply as a family shuttle - for up to seven people on request. Flexible storage options are the key with the Crosscamp Lite, because the fixed installations are limited to what is necessary in this version. These include a gas cooker that can be pulled out to the rear, the living area battery and storage space for a 1,8 kg gas bottle. In addition to the second - standard - sliding door on the driver's side, there is a removable storage box that can also be attached to the rear or completely removed from the vehicle when not in use.
This means that the new Crosscamp Lite is ideally equipped for the (overnight) trip into the countryside. The stove functions as an outdoor kitchen and only needs to be unfolded. And there is space for refreshments in a cool box with a volume of 13 liters between the front seats.
It gets cozy at night: the bench can be converted into a double bed in a few simple steps, so that a lying area of 140 x 200 centimeters extends over the entire width of the interior behind the front seats. Two more beds are available one floor higher - directly in the pop-up roof that is standard at Crosscamp. Those who make a bed here on 120 x 200 centimeters can enjoy the best views of nature through three panorama windows in the raised roof while falling asleep and waking up.
Typical for Opel: Numerous top technologies and assistance systems as standard
The new Crosscamp Lite is not only practical, but above all safe. This is ensured - typical for Opel - by numerous assistance systems that are standard on board in every Crosscamp variant based on Zafira Life. The standard equipment includes technologies such as lane, traffic sign and hill start assist, semi-adaptive cruise control and limiter, front collision warning, emergency brake assist and drowsiness warning. The driver and passengers are well entertained and networked with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible multimedia radio including a seven-inch color touchscreen. The two-zone automatic air conditioning and, on cooler days, the multi-stage seat heating for the driver and front passenger increase comfort.
In addition, the new Crosscamp Lite and Crosscamp Flex can be equipped with many other Opel extras. Comprehensive OpelConnect services extend the range, as does a head-up display, the 180-degree panoramic reversing camera or the park pilot for the front and rear, including a blind spot warning. For safe progress on any surface, the adaptive Opel traction system IntelliGrip is just the thing for real outdoor adventurers. The Opel drive portfolio with all transmission variants and economical diesel engines is available for both Crosscamp versions. Practical, diverse, perfect for a spontaneous short vacation - that is the new Crosscamp Lite based on the Opel Zafira Life.
