The new PEUGEOT e-Rifter VANDERER* combines the advantages of a vehicle for everyday use with those of a campervan for outdoor adventures. The Urban Camper is the result of the successful cooperation between PEUGEOT and VANDERER, the specialists for campervan solutions from the Allgäu. The basis of the multifunctional vehicle suitable for everyday use is the PEUGEOT e-Rifter* L2. The exclusive PEUGEOT e-Rifter VANDERER* model offers different packages for individual requirements in terms of colour, functions and accessories for the interior and exterior. The modern camper thus offers the best conditions for trips and errands in the city as well as for camping trips with the family.

Base vehicle: PEUGEOT e-Rifter

The base vehicle for the modern urban camper is the PEUGEOT e-Rifter* in the L2 version with 5 seats. The L2 version with 7 seats can also be selected as an option. The converted version PEUGEOT e-Rifter Vaderer* can accommodate 5 people. The comfortable standard equipment in the PEUGEOT e-Rifter VANDERER* is combined with the equipment from VANDERER including a pop-up roof including a comfort bed.

The PEUGEOT e-Rifter* is characterized by its striking design, such as the modern and robust front end with the high, vertically aligned radiator grille. The PEUGEOT lion emblem adorns the center of the radiator grille. Narrow LED headlights with a cat-like look create the best visibility by day and by night. The L2 version of the PEUGEOT e-Rifter* is 4,75 meters long and 1,88 meters high. The wheelbase is 2,98 meters apart.

Comfortable equipment of the PEUGEOT e-Rifter VANDERER

The new PEUGEOT e-Rifter VANDERER* is modern, multifunctional and extensively equipped. With different selectable options such as the removable furniture module "Interior Living" or the "Cool&Freeze package", customers can design their model according to their individual requirements. The pull-out kitchen corner with plenty of storage space offers two cooking options with gas and induction. The height-adjustable kitchen unit with plenty of storage space offers two cooking options with gas and induction. The kitchen corner is supplemented by a sink and sink with running water (volume 12 liters of fresh water and waste water). The PEUGEOT e-Rifter VANDERER* also has a 16-litre compressor fridge and freezer combination between the driver's seats.

The multifunctional design and various applications can be customized to meet the needs of travelers. While the outdoor kitchenette, dining area and coffee table are used during the day, the lowered kitchenette provides a wider lying surface at night. In addition to the sleeping area in the interior, there is space for two more beds in the pop-up roof of the camper. The front of the sleeping roof can be opened widely and offers a panoramic view. On request, the Fiamma F35 Deep Black awning can be installed on the passenger side. It offers travelers the opportunity to create a shady outdoor area in an uncomplicated way.

The handcrafted and multifunctional furniture system VANDERER and the exclusively developed pop-up roof make it possible to store a lot of luggage in a small space. The entire furniture module can be removed by two people and without tools. If more storage space or seating for 7 people is required in everyday life, the furniture can be stored.

Carefully finished interior with modern PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®

The interior design of the PEUGEOT e-Rifter* is characterized by puristic lines, technology and high quality of finish. The PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® creates a high level of comfort and intuitive usability thanks to the sporty steering wheel, 8-inch touchscreen (20,3 cm) with the latest technologies and instrument cluster at eye level. All the information required to use an electrified model is made available via the new functions of the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®. The standard analogue instrument cluster has the power display, the consumption display for temperature comfort, the display for the battery charge level and a color matrix for visualizing the information.

Numerous functions can be controlled via the 8-inch (20,3 cm) color touchscreen, available as standard from the Allure Pack version. For example, the optional 3D navigation including voice control. With TomTom® Traffic, it offers real-time alternative routes that depend on the traffic volume, as well as lots of additional information on parking lots, petrol stations and local weather conditions. Thanks to the Mirror Screen application, selected smartphone functions and apps can be used on the touchscreen (in conjunction with the RCC audio system and navigation). The function is compatible with Mirror Link®, Apple Carplay™ and Android Auto™. There is also a USB port, an AUX port and a Bluetooth® hands-free system in the center console.

State-of-the-art driver assistance systems

The PEUGEOT e-Rifter VANDERER* meets all the needs of everyday life with a multitude of technological equipment. Depending on the equipment package, the following is offered as standard or as an option:

Battery and charging options

The PEUGEOT e-Rifter VANDERER* is available with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 50 kWh. It enables a range of up to 274 kilometers (combined, L2, 5-seater), depending on the version, driving profile and under the WLTP protocol (Worldwide harmonized Light vehicles Test Procedures)1 that is currently being approved. The thermal control enables the battery to be charged quickly, has an optimized range and a longer service life.

An on-board charger is available as standard on all equipment levels: the 11 kW on-board charger. The charging socket located on the rear left fender allows the vehicle to be charged in various ways: from a domestic socket, from a reinforced socket, from a wall box and even from a fast charging station. The charging modes of the 50 kWh battery are flexible and adapted to every everyday situation. Several types of charging are possible: at home, at work or at public charging stations. The charging options of the PEUGEOT e-Rifter VANDERER at a glance:

with a household socket (8A), for a full charge in approx. 31 hours and 10 minutes,
with a reinforced socket (16A), for a full charge in 13 hours and 55 minutes,
with an 11 kW wall box: full charge in approx. 5 hours and 5 minutes with the 3-phase (11 kW) on-board charger,
at a fast charging station (100 kW): The thermal control of the battery allows the use of 100 kW charging stations and reaching 80 percent of the charge in about 30 minutes.

In Germany, the maximum single-phase charging capacity in the private sector is usually limited to 4,6 kW. Up to 7,4 kW are possible at public charging points.

Offering home or office charging solutions through a wide range of devices (boosted socket, Wall Box, Smart Wall Box, …), advice on the electrical installation needed and the best charging solutions, and installation at home.
A public charging offer through Free2Move Services, including a charging pass that gives access to a network of more than 220.000 terminals in Europe: pre-selection of terminals based on distance, speed and price. The connected navigation system guides the user to the selected terminal.

Easy-Care accompanies customers when they get started with electromobility and offers peace of mind when it comes to service and resale:

New simulators and digital routes on the PEUGEOT website help to understand electromobility virtually.
Customized service and roadside assistance.
A certificate of battery capacity upon inspection to facilitate the sale of the vehicle second-hand by guaranteeing the vehicle battery capacity level.
The battery is guaranteed for 8 years or 160.000 kilometers for 70 percent of its charge capacity.

From the MyPEUGEOT® smartphone app or from the central screen, drivers can now:
